A leading mission critical and data center facilities company is seeking a Project Manager to join their Montgomery, AL team. Minimal travel required — most work will be performed at the Montgomery site.
Position Details:
- Title: Project Manager
- Location: Montgomery, AL (local site-based role)
- Compensation: $95,000 – $115,000 (negotiable) + Annual Bonus
- Relocation Assistance: $5,000 – $10,000 (available)
About the Company:
This mission critical solutions provider delivers comprehensive services to the data center and commissioning sector. They support design-build, retrofit, and service projects with a specialized focus on commissioning, facility management, QA/QC, energy management, supply chain, and AI/ML readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and define project scope of work, pricing, and manpower requirements.
- Create and manage commissioning (Cx) plans and project schedules.
- Coordinate all communications with clients, vendors, engineers, and project personnel.
- Lead project meetings before and during testing phases; document and distribute meeting minutes.
- Organize and maintain project folders, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Oversee testing coordination, project deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage change orders, budgets, and profitability to ensure financial success.
- Provide accurate project forecasts for revenue projections.
- Evaluate project processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and margin optimization.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Project Manager in commissioning, MEP, or data center environments.
- Strong background in technical project management and client coordination.
- Proficient in developing and managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Schneider, ALC, Johnson Controls, or Siemens products preferred.
