Principal Responsibilities

• General building and equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Responsible for in-house maintenance of facilities
• Carpentry, painting, electrical repairs and modifications
• Responsible for HVAC: heating, ventilation, air conditioning
• Ensure all refrigerated units are operational at all times
• Ensure all department Logs are properly maintained
• Ordering of parts via data bases and other administrative paperwork related to the position
• Miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary by management

Education and Experience* 3-5 years experience in facility maintenance

• Two (2) certifications (not licenses) in work related areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, boilers, welding and/or carpentry desired
• Full compliance with all work rules
• Safe work record, practice safe work habits, following Standard Operating Procedures
• Excellent attendance record
• Flexibility - able to react to changing priorities
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
• Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment and tools
• Must be able to lift and push 50+ lbs
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
• Must be able to work in small spaces and climb ladders'

Compensation details: 26 Hourly Wage
