Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Director/VP of Marketing to build and lead our marketing function. This role owns how we position our products, win mindshare with customers and partners, and translate highly technical value into clear, differentiated messaging.

You’ll lead across product marketing, corporate/brand, partner marketing, competitive intelligence, analyst relations, content, and launch execution—and build a team and operating cadence that scales as the company grows and matures.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role reporting to the CMBDO and working closely with our product, engineering and sales team. The ideal candidate for this role is a "T-shaped" leader: deep vertical expertise in Data Center Infrastructure and product marketing with the horizontal ability to build and manage the broader marketing function (brand, marcomm, AR/PR, digital, events, etc.) along with agency resources.

Responsibilities 

Product Marketing (primary)

• Define and evolve Eridu’s product positioning, messaging, and narrative.
• Develop crisp value propositions for key buyers and influencers
• Partner with product to perform competitive intelligence.
• Building the product marketing toolkit: pitch decks, solution briefs, whitepapers, battlecards, case studies, FAQs, pricing/packaging input, and launch materials.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate product capabilities into customer outcomes / value propositions.

Corporate Marketing

• Drive company and product launch strategy and execution.
• Craft Eridu’s content strategy and industry thought leadership.
• Lead analyst and press relations to ensure consistent and high impact coverage.
• Build Eridu’s digital footprint, including our website & social.
• Own Eridu’s event and speaking strategy

Build and lead the full marketing function over time

• Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing team and key agency partners spanning all marketing functions
• Set priorities, operating rhythm, budget, and vendor/agency strategy.
• Create scalable processes for planning, execution, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS, EE, physics). An MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years in product marketing or product management for data center and cloud IT networking - ideally across silicon, systems and software and targeting large cloud providers.
• 15+ years marketing in deep tech targeting large customers such as hyperscalers.
• Deep understanding of AI infrastructure stacks and buyer personas.
• Strong track record building positioning and messaging for technical infrastructure products, executing compelling launches and enabling sales to win.
• Ability to create a marketing function from scratch: hiring, tooling, process, prioritization, and measurement.
• Proven experience leading a marketing organization with ownership across product + corporate marketing.

The starting base salary for the selected candidate will be established based on their relevant skills, experience, qualifications, work location, market trends, and the compensation of employees in comparable roles.
