*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician with five years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC/R systems effectively.

*Duties*

* Install new HVAC/R systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
* Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
* Conduct inspections of HVAC/R systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
* Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC/R-related concerns in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while working on-site.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC/R needs.

*Skills*

* Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems and components.
* Proficiency in design principles for HVAC/R installations.
* Experience with property maintenance tasks related to heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
* Ability to weld and perform plumbing tasks as needed for system installations or repairs.
* Familiarity with appliance repair techniques relevant to HVAC/R equipment.
* Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
* Experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is highly desirable.
* Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation between job sites.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
