*Background*
Earles Engineering & Inspection (EEI)—a Pittsburg, KS–based firm delivering civil, structural, environmental, inspection, and surveying services across Kansas, Texas, and the Oklahoma Panhandle—has a 30‑year record of partnering with municipalities, state agencies, and private developers on water, wastewater, and land‑development projects. With a large backlog in hand, EEI is adding a *Registered Land Surveyor* to strengthen its growing survey practice.
*Position Overview*
Stationed in Pittsburg, the Registered Land Surveyor will lead field and office surveying throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Responsibilities include completing boundary, topographic, and engineering surveys; preparing plats, easement descriptions, and legal exhibits; coordinating project schedules and crews; and ensuring all deliverables meet tri‑state regulatory standards. A company survey truck and state‑of‑the‑art GPS/RTK equipment are provided. Regular travel to job sites is expected.

*Required*
* Active PLS/RLS in KS *or* eligibility for licensure in KS, OK, and MO within six months
* *4-6* years minimum of experience in boundary, platting, topographic, and construction/engineering surveys
* Proficiency with GPS/RTK and robotic total stations, plus CAD drafting software (e.g., Civil 3D)
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the tri‑state region
*Preferred*
* ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, or easement expertise
* Prior supervision of survey crews and project budgets
* Experience with UAS (drone) or LiDAR mapping
