Job Summary:
J&A Architectural Engineering is on the lookout for a talented Architect, Architectural Designer, or Architectural Engineer to join our close-knit team. As a small firm tackling a wide array of projects, we offer a unique opportunity to work on diverse and challenging endeavors.
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive sets of construction drawings and specifications, demonstrating proficiency in detailing and understanding various building systems.
* Utilize AutoCAD, Revit (not mandatory, but +), and Microsoft Office to create and manage project documentation.
* Collaborate effectively within the team and with clients to translate design concepts into reality.
* Draft correspondence and maintain strong verbal communication skills to facilitate project coordination.
* Assist in establishing project budgets, schedules, and plans, contributing to the overall success of each endeavor.
* Work in-office, providing hands-on support and expertise. This is not a remote position
Experience:
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecture, architectural design, or architectural engineering.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is essential.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
* Capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
* Ability to develop a complete set of construction drawings and specifications, demonstrating a deep understanding of building systems.
