Responsibilities and duties

• General building and equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Responsible for in-house maintenance of facilities
• Light carpentry, painting, electrical repairs and modifications
• Responsible for HVAC: heating, ventilation, air conditioning
• Ensure all refrigerated units are operational at all times
• Ensure all department Logs are properly maintained
• Ordering of parts via data bases and other administrative paperwork related to the position
• Availability to work during inclement weather, including but not limited to, snow removal.
• Miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary by management

Education and Experience

• 1 years experience in facility maintenance
• 1 certification (not licenses) in a work related areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, boilers, welding and/or carpentry preferred
• Safe work record, practice safe work habits, following Standard Operating Procedures
• Flexibility - able to react to changing priorities
• Must be able to work in small spaces and climb ladders'
• At least one weekend day availability (Saturday or Sunday)
• Possess a valid drivers license
