Outside Sales Representative - Commercial Services
Our client is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in our commercial-only service lines. This role is focused on developing new customer relationships, expanding scope within existing accounts, and feeding a disciplined sales pipeline that aligns with operational capacity and compliance requirements. This is a long-cycle, relationship-driven sales role. It is not transactional, residential, or commission-only.
Core Responsibilities
New Business Development - Identify, pursue, and close new commercial customers
- Develop relationships with facility managers, property managers, and institutional clients
- Target opportunities aligned with operational strengths and crew capabilities
Account Growth & Expansion - Expand services within existing accounts through additional buildings, campuses, or
- upgraded scopes
- Promote compliance-driven and specialty services where appropriate
- Partner with operations to ensure sold work is executable, profitable, and compliant
Pipeline & CRM Management - Maintain accurate, real-time opportunity data in the Company CRM
- Provide reliable forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Submit required sales activity and performance reports
Internal Coordination - Work closely with operations, supervision, and management
- Ensure scopes are clearly defined and expectations are realistic
- Support smooth handoff from sale to execution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial B2B sales
- Comfort selling technical or compliance-driven services
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex accounts
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- CRM proficiency and reporting discipline
- Working knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, or related building systems preferred
Plus commission structure
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
Compensation details: 60000-65000 Yearly Salary
