About the Opportunity
A large, publicly traded holding organization operating in highly technical, mission-critical
construction and engineering environments is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications.
This is a strategic, customer-facing IT leadership role that partners closely with construction,
engineering, and fabrication teams to define, prioritize, and deliver enterprise application
solutions. The focus is on improving project execution, operational efficiency, system adoption,
and scalable business processes across the organization.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
for business operations, bridging the gap between enterprise systems and real-world project needs.
This role owns application strategy, roadmap development, and delivery execution while ensuring
solutions align with operational goals, compliance requirements, and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with construction, engineering, and fabrication teams to prioritize and deliver technology initiatives
- Translate business requirements into scalable system and process solutions
- Define application vision, roadmaps, and functional requirements
- Act as subject matter expert and trusted advisor for enterprise applications
- Lead change management, system adoption, and user engagement efforts
- Support SOX compliance, audits, and governance requirements
- Oversee application lifecycle management, enhancements, and integrations
- Provide clear communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leverage analytics and reporting to drive informed decision-making
Systems & Platforms
- ERP systems such as Spectrum, Deltek, and Sage
- Project and professional services platforms including Procore, BigTime, or similar tools
- Enterprise applications supporting construction, engineering, and fabrication operations
Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience leading technology solutions in construction, engineering, or industrial environments
- Proven ability to bridge business needs with enterprise systems and applications
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience defining roadmaps, managing priorities, and delivering complex initiatives
- Comfortable operating in regulated, audit-driven environments
