Position Information
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Analyst performs analysis, reporting and auditing for University Extension. Extracts data from UCR and Extension systems to develop reports for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and forecasting. Develops new reports and audits financial data to measure against organizational KPIs and prepares grant reporting to ensure compliance. At budget managers' requests, provides data and reports to assist in budget management. Assists with a variety of financial services, including reconciling, the entry of grant budgets in Kuali and routing of Business contracts. Supports in the maintenance of accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely billing and accuracy. Works to resolve financial related problems, performing analysis, interpreting policy and providing recommendations. Works cross functionally in workgroups to perform analysis and process improvement.The full salary range for the Financial Analyst is $66,878.64 - $97,760.16 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $70,257.48 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
