Last year, with the help of over 7,100 trained corporate and community volunteers, JA delivered over 20 various programs to almost 50,000 students in classrooms throughout Broward and south Palm Beach counties and at JA World Huizenga Center at the Lillian S. Wells Pavilion, a first-class facility housing JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.

Junior Achievement of South Florida is seeking a Marketing Manager who believes in the power of storytelling to inspire action and advance meaningful change. This role is ideal for a missionâdriven marketer who is passionate about using creative storytelling, thoughtful design, and strategic messaging to support programs that empower young people and strengthen our community.
As a handsâon marketing leader, youâll balance bigâpicture thinking with dayâtoâday executionâcrafting compelling content, designing highâquality materials, and leading campaigns that bring our mission to life and expand our impact.
Working in close partnership with organizational leadership and crossâfunctional teams, youâll help share stories that engage supporters, celebrate the success of our programs, and build lasting connections across the South Florida community.

Your Key Focus Areas:
Â
Content Creation and Writing
- Develop clear, compelling written content for diverse audiences including donors, partners, educators, families, and community stakeholders.
- Produce a wide range of content such as:
- Campaign collateral
- Email communications
- Brochures and flyers
- Program descriptions
- Presentations and impact summaries
- Ensure messaging remains clear, compelling, and consistent across all materials.

Graphic Design and Creative Development
- Design marketing assets for both print and digital use, including:
- Event materials
- Infographics and reports
- One-pagers
- Signage and promotional items
- Uphold and evolve the organizationâs identity, ensuring all creative pieces reflect brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate ideas into polished visuals and marketing materials.
- Manage and strengthen the organizationâs brand standards, ensuring consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across all materials.

Project & Campaign Management
- Lead multiple marketing initiatives endâtoâend, balancing timelines, quality, and competing priorities.
- Keep creative projects moving forward by maintaining timelines, organized workflows, and clear approval processes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to collect information and ensure messaging supports broader priorities and mission objectives.

Strategic Support for Campaigns
- Help execute marketing strategies that promote fundraising initiatives, community outreach, and awareness of organizational programs.
- Generate creative ideas that enhance storytelling and campaign messaging.
- Support the development and delivery of campaign collateral, print materials, and promotional content.
Â
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate closely with program, development, and leadership teams to understand priorities and create tailored marketing and communication materials.
- Provide creative and communications support for events, donor engagement efforts, program launches, and communityâfocused initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted resource to internal stakeholders by offering guidance on brand alignment, design best practices, and effective content strategies.

â The craft and expertise youâll bring:

Education and Knowledge
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Knowledge of marketing principles inclusive of brand management, audience segmentation, campaign development, and integrated communications.
- Understanding of visual communication, layout design, typography, and brand consistency across print and digital formats.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels including email marketing and website content strategies.
- Familiarity with nonprofit storytelling approaches that engage donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of marketing technologies including email marketing platforms, website content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and emerging technologies such as AI-powered content tools.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for diverse audiences.
- Graphic design and visual storytelling skills with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
- Ability to create professional marketing materials for print, digital, and presentation formats including brochures, reports, infographics, and event materials.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in presentation and document tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate marketing effectiveness and develop innovative approaches
