Electrical Engineer – Lakeland, FL – $100,000–$130,000 (DOE)

This company is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead design and project coordination efforts for a range of electrical installations. Position Details:

• Title: Electrical Engineer
• Location: Lakeland, FL
• Status: Full-Time / On-Site

Ideal Candidate:

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities
• Strong background in electrical design, installation, and maintenance of 600V through medium voltage systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, NEC, NFPA, FL Building Code – preferred
• Experience with SKM Power Tools – preferred
• FL Professional Engineering License – preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce electrical drawings for power distribution systems, switchgear, and UPS systems
• Perform building load calculations, voltage drop, and short circuit analysis
• Create and review QA/QC drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
• Read and interpret project schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints
• Project manage and coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients
• Estimate labor, materials, and construction costs for budgets
• Review and respond to submittals and RFIs from subcontractors
• Conduct site surveys to verify code compliance and project accuracy
• Mentor and train engineering team members
• Contribute to business development strategy and client engagement
