NETA Technician II or III – Louisville, KY – Up to $50/hr + Bonus – Company Vehicle – Industrial Project Focus

About the Opportunity:

A rapidly growing NETA-certified electrical testing company is seeking a certified NETA Technician II or III to join their Louisville-based team. This role supports power system testing and commissioning projects across the entire state of Kentucky, with a strong focus on industrial environments. Technicians travel to job sites throughout the region and are backed by a supportive and experienced project management team.

Position Details:

• Title: NETA Technician II or III
• Location: Louisville, KY
• Territory: All of Kentucky – Up to 4 hours travel per project
• Industry Focus: Industrial, Commercial, Data Centers, Battery Energy Storage, Gas Plants, Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing on power systems including relays, switchgear, transformers, grounding systems, motors, batteries, and cables
• Troubleshoot electrical system faults and recommend or perform corrective actions
• Develop clear and comprehensive technical reports after each assignment
• Serve as a field-facing representative, upholding a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Communicate project progress, staffing needs, and equipment updates with internal teams
• Uphold rigorous safety standards in all work environments

Ideal Candidate:

• NETA II or III Certification (Required)
• Hands-on experience in electrical field testing and maintenance
• Experience with medium- and high-voltage equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the state (mostly within a 4-hour radius)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: Up to $50/hr (Depending on Experience)
