Building Envelope Engineer / Project Manager – Boston Metro – $100K–$130K + Benefits + Unlimited PTO
About the Opportunity:
A leading structural engineering firm is seeking a skilled Building Envelope Engineer / Project Manager to support a diverse range of projects throughout the Greater Boston area. You’ll work both in the office and in the field on buildings ranging from new construction to 150-year-old structures. - Location: Greater Boston, MA
- Work Environment: Office and Field-Based
- Territory: Boston Metro, Cambridge, Eastern Massachusetts, New England
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (Based on Experience)
- Bonus: Annual year-end bonus based on company performance

Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist in the execution of building envelope projects from start to finish
- Conduct design calculations for building envelope and structural elements
- Attend and contribute to pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
- Develop technical drawings, details, and comprehensive design documentation
- Specify appropriate materials and systems from a wide array of manufacturers
- Provide support during bidding and construction administration phases
- Apply knowledge of renovation, building codes, and envelope performance standards
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, clients, and contractors
Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of experience in building envelope engineering or project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Must have E.I.T. certification (P.E. preferred but not required)
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple project phases
- Strong client-facing communication skills and problem-solving mindset
