Position:

• Title: Mechanical Engineer
• Work Type: In-Office with Occasional Site Walks

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000 – $130,000+ (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings, central plants, and various facilities
• Perform HVAC load calculations including Title-24 compliance
• Select and size HVAC equipment per system layout and client requirements
• Design ductwork and piping systems for heating and cooling distribution
• Prepare and review technical proposals, reports, and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to meet deadlines
• Utilize AutoCAD or Revit for mechanical system layout (Revit a plus)
• Participate in occasional job site walks and inspections

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of HVAC mechanical design experience
• Strong understanding of California building codes and Title-24
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (Revit preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and project ownership
