A full-service mechanical contractor is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to support commercial and industrial clients across Greater Cleveland. Position Details:

• Title: HVAC Service Technician
• Location: Cleveland, OH (Greater Cleveland area)
• Compensation: $30.00–$50.00/hr (union scale) + overtime
• Experience: 2+ years in commercial HVAC preferred
• Status: U.S. work authorization required; background/drug screen
• Tools/Perks: Service truck, gas card, company cellphone; ongoing training

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, clean, adjust, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including warranty service.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine effective repair actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance (e.g., clean reheat coils, service AHUs, calibrate components).
• Ensure condensate drains are clear and functioning properly.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, work orders, and service documentation.
• Uphold safety compliance and applicable codes/standards on every job.
• Care for and maintain assigned service vehicle and company-issued tools.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across controls, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable servicing a variety of equipment and facility types.
• Clear communicator with professional customer-service skills.
