A well-established HVAC/R contractor is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Account Manager to lead sales and business development initiatives across Southern California. This role focuses on promoting HVAC and refrigeration product lines, building relationships with distributors, contractors, and engineers, and driving regional sales growth through consultative solutions and customer engagement.

Position Details
- Title: Sr. Account Manager
- Location: Wilmington, CA (Greater Los Angeles area)
- Compensation: $100,000 base salary + monthly commission (OTE $150,000+)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Territory: Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties
- Travel: Local travel to client sites and distributor locations
Key Responsibilities
- Represent HVAC/R manufacturers and product lines across Southern California
- Promote brand visibility and execute sales programs to drive regional growth
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, engineers, and distributors
- Lead product training sessions to enhance distributor knowledge and sales performance
- Support distributor sales through education, engagement, and technical expertise
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions
- Provide consultative sales solutions to meet customer needs and project goals
- Offer technical support and make product recommendations tailored to specific applications
- Identify new business opportunities and expand key accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and project delivery
Ideal Candidate
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC/R sales or marketing
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration coils, and mechanical equipment
- Engineering background or technical sales experience preferred
- Proven success in account management and new business development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel throughout Southern California as needed
